Surprise Wins at our Club Contests
One of my biggest weakness, is to appreciate an initiative that i could be a Contest winner at Toastmasters. As close friends tell me, i tend to be too hard on myself or evaluate myself too critical.
So at a recent club contest, i was very surprised by my own performance. When i was encouraged by my members and Division I Director Fatma to participate and make an attempt at Table Topics and Evaluation contests. i did my best to practice prior and was all nervous. To make it more difficult , i was the 1st contestant to come on stage.
But i gave my heart out, i spoke with great humility and let my heart do the talking and my mind to calculate the time. I guess the combination hit the target and im feeling amazing.
